This notice covers applications sent through JEM's online application and the hiring texts and calls that follow. JEM Restaurant Group operates Pizza Hut restaurants as an independent franchisee; Pizza Hut, LLC does not receive or process your application.
Your name, mobile number, email (if you give one), the restaurant and position you apply for, when you can work, your answers to the application questions, anything you choose to tell us about yourself, and your resume if you attach one. If you interview with Penny, our hiring assistant, by phone or text, we keep her notes and a summary of the interview; a phone interview is recorded only with your permission, which Penny asks for at the start of the call.
To consider you for jobs at JEM's restaurants, to contact you about your application and interviews, and, if you are hired, to start your onboarding. We do not sell your information and do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Service providers that run these tools for us: Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage), our phone and text providers, and, only if you reach that step and authorize it, our background-check provider (which gives you its own disclosures). Each may use your information only to provide its service to JEM.
If you check the contact box on the application, JEM Restaurant Group (Pizza Hut) may text you and call you at the number you gave about your application and interviews, such as interview scheduling, reminders, the interview itself and next steps. Calls may come from Penny, our automated (AI) hiring assistant, and you can ask her or the restaurant to stop calling at any time. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of applying or of being hired; without it a person from the restaurant calls you instead. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and text consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
Application records are kept for at least one year, longer if the law or a legal matter requires it, and then deleted.
To see, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw your application, email the address below with your name and the restaurant you applied to.
